藝術行動artivism結合了art及activism,強調社會實踐行動與「藝術」、「行動」間的對話關係,將地方敘事及環境關懷帶入創作過程,並批判性回應社會/空間議題。是次分享,講者將探討社區藝術行動如何促成特定社會意義的生產及變遷。
康旻杰為台大建築與城鄉研究所副教授,都市聚落與地景研究室主持人,也是都市改革組織監事和都市保育的行動者。研究及行動範疇包含了都市聚落及文化地景的保存活化、公共藝術與社會參與、合作住宅與意向性社區、都市設計與地景敘事等。
Artivism is a portmanteau word which combines art and activism, emphasising social action and the dialogical relationship between ‘art’ and ‘action’, bringing local narration and environmental concern into the creative process, and critically responding to social/spatial issues. The sharing will examine how Community Artivism facilitates the production and transformation of specific social meanings.
Kang Min-jay is an Associate Professor at the Graduate Institute of Building and Planning, and the director of Urban Settlements and Landscapes Research Lab in National Taiwan University (NTU). He is also the current Supervisor of OURs (Organization of Urban-Res), and an activist for a just and sustainable city. His research and activist engagement cover conservation and regeneration of urban settlements and cultural landscapes, community building and regeneration, cohousing and intentional community, socially engaged public arts, urban design and landscape narratives.
